Report: Kaepernick files grievance against NFL owners for collusion

Colin Kaepernick has filed a grievance under the collective bargaining agreement for collusion against NFL team owners, reports Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report.

Kaepernick has hired high-profile attorney Mark Geragos and is preparing to release a statement about his grievance soon, added Freeman.

The free-agent quarterback has remained unemployed since his release by the San Francisco 49ers in March and has garnered little interest from teams around the league. This has caused some to suggest he's being blackballed for his national anthem protests during the 2016 season.

Especially when you quit the contract you had and are not a good player.

The MLBPA probably had an easier case to make in the 1980s because it didn’t involve teams refusing to sign players. It involved teams making offers to players for salaries that are less than what the market was paying for comparable — even inferior — players.

"I hear Green Bay has an opening."

If he takes the field and gets injured I might start watching the NFL again.

All the teams which wanted a pain in the butt 2-14 second string quarterback demanding starter pay and a completely revised offensive game plan got together to deny him a job. All zero of those teams in the NFL who wanted that.

If liberals don’t get what they want they try to get it through the courts.

Merit and hard work are dirty words to liberals.

Oh this should be fun

How does Mark explain Colin’s refusal to accept the offer the Whiners gave him?

Even if he and his Muzzie GF know they won’t win, they probably figure they’ll Cloward-Piven the NFL & make them spend time and money proving it’s NOT collusion.

Good point. Kaepernick and his buddies are going to ruin it for everyone, themselves included.

Well, as long as the owners didn’t ‘paper’ their conversations with each other regarding him and there were no recorded meetings regarding him. Here comes discovery.

Exactly! He had a job and opted out. He has no one to blame but himself. He was not getting it done on the field and still had a 1 yr contract and his America hating behavior sealed his fate. What team in their right mind would want this divisive pecker head in their locker room.
