Wait, they did little to stop a biker showdown? What showdown is this? I’ve read again and again that this was just an innocent regular meeting where everyone gathered to discuss legislation and lobbying efforts on motorcycling issues.
Bottom line, the crybaby bikers would be bitching if the cops did anything to stop the event and would claim it was just an innocent meeting. The truth, none of this would have happened if grown men didn’t have to follow biker sorority rules and ask “permission” of the Banditos to ride where they want, and wear what they pleased.

Who says they needed to shut it down? Just show in force and arrest anyone who gets out of line. There were more cops there than bikers, so it’s not like they had a manpower problem.
