All these young, hot looking actresses who were just starting out and didn’t have a pot to p*ss in, would do about anything (and anyone) to get roles and climb the ladder. If the ladder was attached to Weinstein, so what. He had the $ and power. They wanted his acceptance and influence. Why say anything and queer the deal?
Now that they’ve got the “stardom”, power and $ - or are over the hill and need any publicity they can get - once someone makes the allegations they come out of the woodwork and join the dogpile of leftist feminazi voices condemning what they didn’t when *they* needed *his* power and $$ or roles. And let him do whatever he wanted with them.
Who didn’t actually know that Weinstein was a piece of sludge from the beginning? Certainly, those women knew and as long as they needed to be on his good side, were not about to say anything. I actually have probably more respect for him than for all of them that are *now* “speaking out”.
And that would be a really low bar for them.
The amount of people that knew about this guy’s behavior, I can’t even imagine. They all protect each other, carry on as if it’s all normal and then act all shocked when certain things come to light. It’s no different than the way the clin tons act, or any other crime family.
