The New Yorker is out with its big piece on Harvey Weinstein, and it’s bad. Really, really bad:

But on top of the rape allegations, the New Yorker posted audio from a NYPD sting in 2015 after an Italian model and actress accused Weinstein of groping her.

I am glad that it is mentioning Vance by name instead of just calling it The NYPD.
I wondered, why would the NYT do a hit piece on Weinstein now after protecting him and his Hollywood ilk for all these years?
I think there are two possible answers. First, the NYT knew that something big (such as this audio) was going to come out soon and the NYT did not want to appear to be blindsided by this out-of-nowhere news.
Second, it has been reported the Weinstein and Speilberg are arch rivals. Is Steven pulling some strings behind the curtain to destroy Harvey?

The NYPD had the recording, and no doubt there were plenty of cops willing to leak this, as they seem to have done. It may have been leaked two years ago.
This burns not just Weinstein but hordes of others, like Vance.
So, as you ask, why now?
Someone was behind this, and it is a coordinated attack.

Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance is an accessory after the fact to Weinstein’s sexual assault crimes.

But this Weinstein is,despite his money and power,so breathtakingly repulsive both in his attitude and his physical appearance that it's hard for me to imagine *any* woman,regardless of how desperate,wanting to be within 50 yards of this pig.
Bubba is so appalled I bet he is willing to personally console the all those ladies.

Truth is, Hillary didn't care what Bill or Harvey did in secret until it hit the news.
