The leg issue sounds to me like possible early peripheral artery disease. Have the medications affected that?
Also, from my experience, it sometimes takes experimentation to figure out which BP drugs, singly or in combination, control with minimal side effects.
if you do not have heart problems, you are on the way. First throw away the cigarettes. You are killing yourself.
Next, you are on an expensive medicine. I am retired and tell my doctor is it ain’t generic don’t write the prescription. I am on benazepril for my high blood pressure.
I would also start attack your cholesterol levels also. High cholesterol damages the heart.
Next hydrate your self first in the morning, I drink 24 ounces of water before I ingest any other food or drink. You have been asleep for 8 hours. Your body needs water before coffee or cereal or pancakes. I will drink another 48 ounces during the day.
Reduce the coffee you drink. I am down to 1 cup in the morning.
Drink a glass of red wine in the evening.
Take a baby aspirin each day for heart.
Read and educate yourself. It’s your body. You know it. Treat it well. Good luck
Went through the artery thing with my Mother. She was put on Pletal and started riding a recumbent exercise bike. Completely reversed the problem.
I had to experiment through many to find the best one FOR ME.
I'm 58, 190 lbs. Not overweight.
Keep monitoring, and definitely keep a log of your BP's. Keep your doctor up to date.
Also, alternate arms for the monitoring. You can negatively impact your artery if you stick with one site for monitoring.
