Well, if she raised you right she’ll always be right there behind you. May God have Mercy on her soul and give Peace to those she leaves.
Welcome to those of us who are adrift without our mothers.
You said it was a difficult month. Some of us have been there too. You have the prayers of many many freepers. It will get easier over time.
Although there are going to be many days you pick up the phone to call her or many days you say to yourself, “mom will love to hear about this” and that means you are part of the group who understands.
Prayers are with you. I lost my mom about 2 1/2 years ago so I know how you feel. Let me tell you that the pain takes a long time to go away so don’t think there is anything wrong with not getting over it. My dad died about 18 years ago and it has gotten easier, but I have not gotten over it yet.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Only those who have lost their moms can understand the feelings. Time will help to heal your heart. For mine, and I am sure yours, she is in a better place now.

Mrs. Submareener and I have both been orphans since 2006, so we know how it feels. Just hold fast to the good memories, and forget the bad ones. The emptiness never really goes away, but at least it becomes bearable.

So sorry for your loss, prayers for you. I know how much it hurts, lost both of my parents two years ago - three months apart. I still miss them everyday.
