Showboating disrespect should never be approved of. This isnt the worste but there is still no excuse for it. The national anthem is to be sung as written anything else is disrespect. My middle daughter is in a number of bands and is hired to do the national anthem, she has a great voice and can sing this powerfully. Ive made it perfectly clear that if she ever disrespected the anthem this way I would never take her to an event and most certainly wouldnt attend.
