NFL players responded to President Trump's criticisms of players protesting police brutality by taking a knee during the national anthem by kneeling en masse Sunday morning.

The opening of the NFL Sunday slate of games took place Sunday morning in London, and many players from both the Baltimore Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars took a knee during the playing of "The Star-Spangled Banner."

“I find it hard to believe that any conservative “male” still watches the NFL after all of this”

Well, I’m a conservative male. Not going to watch football today. Fact is, probably wouldn’t watch even if this issue wasn’t going on. However, I intend to watch the Cowboys tonight as “so far” the players haven’t participated in this taking a knee stupidity. They’re playing at Arizona tonight. So, will be interesting to see what the Arizona players do. Arizona is a conservative state. But, we shall see...

To do this on foreign soil, especially British soil, is truly despicable.

Done with the NFL. Go outside and spend day with family. Let them kneel in empty stadiums

The peer pressure must be strong - I can see everyone falling like dominoes now. If you DON’T take the knee, then you support police brutality on blacks. Racist if you stand. Well, empty seats and lost sales on jerseys, etc. will eventually send a message.

Sorry, but you’re as wrong as wrong can be. The NFL is a private hobby funded by nitwits who should be mowing the lawn. After this calamity in London they deserve nothing short of fiscal annilation.

This was the final nail for me, as it is for many others.

My time has been steadily dwindling anyway over the years.

I feel sorry for the likes of Aaron Rodgers and the few others who make us proud. Very unfair to them.

I say they should stay in the locker room until AFTER our national anthem.

You really think this will resolve anything?

This is just a symptom. It is like taking an aspirin for a pain when the pain is caused by cancer. Even if the aspirin would be able to provide some relief, the cancer is still there.

Stop the National Anthem and they will move on to something else just as offensive. Maybe they will object to having an American Flag anywhere near the stadium or just having a fan wear an American Flag.

How much are you willing to give up to appease the un- appeasible?

I only watch the Cowboys or Texans.

********************************************

I don’t watch football, but I’m pretty sure the game involves them playing other teams.

These anti Americans are only cutting their own throats.
Eventually team revenues will bottom out and so will player
salaries.

>>What if by Presidential degree Donald Trump issued an edict that no more games would play the National Anthem?<<

Then he could sign one saying that North Korea does not exist!!! Brilliant.

Agree. The stands are normally for red-blooded American men and women. I don’t see too many pajama boy and Rosie O’Donnells supporting the NFL - especially now that they’re being blamed for brain injuries, etc.
