NFL players responded to President Trump's criticisms of players protesting police brutality by taking a knee during the national anthem by kneeling en masse Sunday morning.
The opening of the NFL Sunday slate of games took place Sunday morning in London, and many players from both the Baltimore Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars took a knee during the playing of "The Star-Spangled Banner."

I might be wrong, but I think by far the bigger drop offs will be in the TV audience rather than stadium attendance. We might not see the impact of the players actions very much in stadium attendance.

Soon the novelty of this will rub off. After Game 8 of the season no one will make a to-do about it. But American patriots WILL remember and soon these players who are used to playing before packed stadiums will see empty seats and hear artificial crowd noise.
