Aaron Hernandez's fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, says Aaron killed himself as a result of severe CTE he suffered during his NFL career -- and she's suing the the Patriots and the league for keeping him in the dark about the brain disease.
Shayanna filed the lawsuit in Mass. on behalf of the daughter she had with Aaron.
In the suit Shayanna says, "Aaron had stage 3 CTE usually seen in players with a median age of death of 67 years."
Shayanna claims the NFL and the Patriots were aware of the link between suicidal impulses and CTE and failed to share that info with Hernandez.

LOL. Break out the popcorn. Should be fun to watch the girlfriends
and boyfriends show up in court.
+1
How do I know it’s his daughter? Have u seen the DNA test?
“Cassius Clay aka M. A.”
I always thought it was sad at the 1996 Olympics when he lit the torch with a shaky hand and the crowd cheered. It was likely that boxing contributed significantly to his Parkinson’s.
Not sure it was worth the fame and fortune but others may differ. I wouldn’t have cheered.
Good info, thx. I wonder if they have a subcategory called CTBI-F, injury associated with football?
When I was a kid, I wanted to box. My best friend was in the Golden Gloves. He used to come home from his boxing matches horribly beaten up - cuts, black eyes, broken nose, fat lips, the whole nine yards. Bad eyesight is what kept me from doing it. At the time I was unhappy about that. Now I’m thankful!
He killed himself because he was a worthless thug. Prison said he was always in trouble. He didn’t want to spend his life in prison, that is why he killed himself.
He had no CTE growing up as a thug.
“My best friend was in the Golden Gloves.”
Do you know if there were any adverse effects later in life?
A fiance has standing?
OK, on behalf of their kid. It’s still BS.
He never denied it and she would bring the baby with her on visitations.
They had dated since high school.
No, unfortunately. We were in a Christian boys home, a home that specialized in kids who had trouble in their own homes (chronic runaways, child abuse, etc.), but weren’t in any serious trouble with the law themselves. After I left, I never saw any of them again.
The fiancee has standing to sue as the guardian of Hernandez’ child, and for the benefit of the child, but not for any loss she herself may have suffered.
And now I see, my who gives a rip comment on the other story; now makes sense.
Unless the law has changed, she has no standing to bring such an action as she was not his spouse.
And boyfriends.
Good luck proving that one sweetie.
