Aaron Hernandez's fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, says Aaron killed himself as a result of severe CTE he suffered during his NFL career -- and she's suing the the Patriots and the league for keeping him in the dark about the brain disease.
Shayanna filed the lawsuit in Mass. on behalf of the daughter she had with Aaron.
In the suit Shayanna says, "Aaron had stage 3 CTE usually seen in players with a median age of death of 67 years."
Shayanna claims the NFL and the Patriots were aware of the link between suicidal impulses and CTE and failed to share that info with Hernandez.

Doesn’t CTE cause some anger issues as well? Perhaps some of the families of those murdered could sue the NFL as well.

Well, I googled it and it is chronic traumatic encephalopathy, which actually tells us a little something more than the acronym. Even if one isn’t a doctor.
The thing with Hernandez is, he was a worthless thug before he ever played football. How do doctors/lawyers know he wasn’t suicidal because he felt so bad about being a worthless thug vs. being suicidal because of CTE?
Because that wont make any of us very much money at all.

He spent all his money on legal fees. I think he was even forced to sell his home. He had to fight two separate murder charges.
Stupid lawsuit is stupid. He was a gang member. He not only got into brawls on the streets he got into publically reported brawls in bars.
How does she prove the CTE came from the football and not the pounding he got in the bars?
A sub set of CTE is Dementia pugilistica., also called punch-drunk syndrome, or CTBI-B (chronic traumatic brain injury associated with boxing).
Been turning their brains into goo for so long have multiple scientific references for it with defined sub categories.
