Like Hillary, her fame is due to her association with somebody who was both successful and an affirmative action hire. Fame is fleeting. Fame due to being associated with fame, more so. It is unlikely that Barak will remain famous, or, if so, his fame will be along the lines of Bill Cosby or Anthony Weiner. To get any leverage off Barak they must strike while the iron is hot. My guess is the iron has cooled considerably already and all the king’s CNN can not hotten it again.
The only obstacle I see is that Mrs. Obama has benefited from a series of no-show jobs for which she was greatly overpaid. Pretty much like Hillary, come to think of it. Does she have the discipline to make a run? Or would she — like Hillary — run one long, train-wreck of a campaign where her aids would be forced to clean-up yesterday’s gaff today?
