If the "the earnest policy wonk" or the "masterly tactician" weren't NeverTrumpers like Lowry we could have been on a wave of historic, game changing accomplishments by now that may not have turned the sinking ship around but may have at least stopped the flooding. All we have now is a Uniparty that doesn't care about real Americans and only want to please the masters who pay to keep them in power.

NeverTrump, and thus, anti-flyover-republican. (Anti-for)

I suspect President Trump is motivating the RINOs. They can follow his agenda, which they have so far ignored, or he will work with the democrats. I hope they learn their lesson.

Trump, who has been too inept to help his own party in Congress,

What a crock. The swamp leadership has been trying to undermine Trump since the primaries, and never stopped. Trump has done everything a president could do to carry out his promises, despite both parties. Now he's responisbile for "not helping" them?

As if Trump doesn’t know enough not to trust Schumer! These swamp-rats are the dumb ones, not Trump.

reminding people he’s a nonideological

Really? What BS. Trump is a Nationalist which to my thinking makes him VERY ideological.

McConnell is a Master tactician like Pelosi is a Master legislator. Which basically means they are good at figuring out the arcane rules of the Congress and finding ways to further entrench themselves in the bureaucracy. Doing good for the voters and the country is far down their to-do list.

The President’s biggest mistake so far is not realizing that neither wing of the democrat party was going to cooperate with him. Mitch, Paul and the rest of the DIRCS (democrats in republican clothing) remain bitter that Trump dared to “steal” the nomination.

Trump should have hit the ground knowing he needed a far and wide slate of like minded candidates to replace the moderate democrats or DIRCS in the primaries. Now he is stuck. He doesn’t want the liberal wing of the democrat party to take over congress or he will be impeached for no reason whatsoever.
