I was stopped at a red traffic light one time and was rear ended by a teenage driver; ergo, the Fitzgerald and the McCain were deliberately rammed by cargo ships. Isn’t that logical?
It was posted years ago and has been seen more than 5 million times

Um, yeah ... that would go over real well.
Because you click-baited me with fake news.
That wasn’t ramming. It looks more like they were trying to do tug boat stuff. They slowed way down and came in at a shallow angle to do less damage. Meanwhile the target was stationary. Any idea that’s ramming practice is hokum.
Praise be to Kek!

The left and the dark state are doing everything they can to take President Trump down.
Purposefully and intentionalyl.
Early stories on the incident reported that they must have experienced a mechanical failure... I couldn’t find the report on what actually happen or any updates.
Both boats had bubbles coming up from their rear, so they were still running their propellers. - Sep. 29, 2014 Video here has a recreation of the event with a map/radar type of view.

Oh wait, I overlooked this one. They are claiming the ‘Bank effect’ sucked the ship into the other one.

Go to G Captain. Hapag Llloyd claims this was a rudder failure in the Suez.
http://gcaptain.com/containerships-collide-suez-canal/
I really don’t believe that a major commercial carrier such as Hapag would submit to being the subject of a ramming practice exercise with one of the largest container ships in the world.
It really is a little far fetched.
Either way NOT ramming practice.
Seems obvious, a ship deliberatly rammed another.
Slow down, let the target mostly pass around, accelerate and ram.
You didn’t answer the question on post 19?
have serious doubts that anybody will risk their cargo like this, for a ‘practice run’. and any insurance company would think twice before insuring any future cargoes from either line after this.
I call baloney
First, it’s not news. That’s why I asked thoughts?
Second, if you have proof this is fake, then please link the proof.
This is fake news you made up!
“Video Of Cargo Ship Practicing Ramming Technique Used Against Ships”
Good grief that is what the videos show.
Did you see where I wrote “Thoughts”? You then say it’s fake, because it was old (yes 3 years thanks to another Freeper).
Thus, I asked you how does time make it irrelevant?
You’re illogical answer is because it’s fake. I then ask you for a link that validates what you are saying.
You respond with no link backing what you are saying, and then you said I made this up???
I guess you get all mixed up with what is a question from a Freeper vs. news?
That’s not a valid point but an opinion since you obviously have no link to back up what you are saying.
The two ships are not close enough for the Bernoulli effect to pull them together. It is one of the first things you learn about when conning two ships along side for underway replenishment(UNREP). As the bow of the overtaking ship passes the stern of the, usually larger, replenishment ship the smaller ship is pushed away. While you are alongside there is a tendency for the ships to be pulled together.
In any event, if that were the cause the two ships would have stayed parallel and NOT had one ship make a hard turn into the other.
