I can access my email, when I try to access my bank acct it says I need to up date my browser. Did you buy a new Apple computer or an old Apple computer? If you bought an old Apple computer you may need to update your OS to get the latest Safari. . . Some of the older Apple hardware (ten years old or older) generally can't handle being brought up to date with the latest security protocols.
