Abraham Lincoln Statue Vandalized
Chicago, IL – In the most dumbfounding vandalism of the year, somebody set an Abraham Lincoln statue on fire in Chicago on Wednesday, according to 15th Ward Alderman Raymond Lopez.
The monument has stood near 69th & Wolcott St since it was erected in 1926. It is now blackend by fire.
By all appearances, somebody dumped accelerant on the bust and then lit it on fire.
According to Alderman Lopez, Chicago PD is investigating who committed the act and what their motivation was.
Abraham Lincoln, who led the Union to victory in the civil war and ended slavery, appears to be an unlikely target for vandalism. At least, that’s what I would think. Based off of the comments of some locals, Abraham Lincoln was a racist who said a lot of “racist shit.”

The Lincoln Memorial in DC was vandalized a few days ago red spray paint.
He was really quite iffy on the subject of slavery.
One thing that might slow this sh!t down is the disappearance of the Soros family....
How long before all white people have to be killed because their ancestors maybe, might’ve, possibly, owned slaves? When I see people tearing down statues, spitting and kicking and beating on the statues, I feel like that’s what they want to do to white people. A holocaust survivor was quoted as saying words to the effect, “If they say they want to kill you, believe them.” I have never felt more threatened and unsafe as a white person.
Somebody give me some hope.

"Accelerant" is namby-pampy professional jargon. Its' not "by all appearances." The event happened and the bust did not just auto-conflagrate. The perp poured gas on the bust and lit a match.
Abraham Lincoln has his statue pulled down. This is where we are -— Lincoln is now having his statues assaulted. We are done, folks. I am not sure we can come back from such idiocy.

From things I have read that he said, he thought slavery was wrong but he didn’t believe that blacks were equal to whites in intelligence and other areas. Even though he was against slavery, he was more against the South leaving the Union. He was worried about how freeing people that he considered inferior would work and how they would take care of themselves. I wish I knew where I saw the article I read of his writing on the subject.

So was virtually everyone else in the past ... by today’s standards.
So every statue and monument should come down ... every grave of every person desecrated ... if we are going to be consistent.
