"All I am asking is news reported as they happened, not analyzed, unprocessed, uncensored, pure and simple. Back in the days Reuters and AP did just that."

Reuters and the AP never really did that. It's just that back when they were THE news, there was nothing else to compare them with. Most of news bias does not come from what they report, it comes from what they don't report. At the time, no one could find out what Reuters and the AP didn't report. Now it's all available on the internet and their bias is altogether clear. You must get your news from many sources and use your mind to figure out the truth.

Best way to get reliable unbiased news is listen to the media and then 180 it.

You can scan free republic for current happenings.

I’ve never missed a beat here and never been surprised by somebody mentioning something I hadn’t heard about. And that’s been since I’ve been a member.

But if it’s something I care about, I ALWAYS do the background research. The more I care, the more I look.

Otherwise....echo chamber.

Even Uncle Walter back in the day had an agenda.

ROFL!!!

You mean Walter Crankcase?

That lying pig of a communist propaganda spewer had most of the people fooled, most of the time. "Even" Uncle Walter??? How about "ESPECIALLY" Uncle Walter?

“One America News Network”

I love this channel. I have not been able to watch the news including Fox since the primaries last year. I stumbled onto OAN and that pretty much what I watch now to get my news.

OANN .. put that one on the TOP of your list.
I’m also finding Liberty Daily an EXCELLENT replacement for Drudge.

OK, “especially Uncle Walter”. I said “Even” because I find that many people who are looking for “reliable” news sources thought, back in the day, that Uncle Walter was the the gospel, the fount of absolute truth.

Thanks, that looks like what I am looking for: a digest type.

E.g., if a story comes up about a pending statute, I go to the gov legislature site to see the actual statute and committee hearing minutes on it if available.

Good point, but that doesn't always work.

I remember trying to look up the actual Affordable Health Care Act (Obamacare) legislation.

Several thousand pages!

Pelosi said, "We have to pass it to know what's in it."

That is so freaking dysfunctional but the Left never saw that statement as anything by normal.
