Violent clashes between far-right groups and counter-protestors have left at least two injured, police say.

If it is about race and hatred of the Confederacy, maybe the Antifa Left should be aware that Confederate General John C. Calhoun held "progressive" ideas, therefore he was one of them.
Why would they strike out at one of their own?
I don’t support ANY ‘identity’ groups....black life or white life who obviously can’t see any further than their own rage and victim hood.
But it is highly questionable how VA called this a “State of Emergency” yet black life matters protests...Ferguson...and Maryland were never called out likewise.

I doubt we will ever be allowed to know what happened. In the video a white driver (young male with beard, looks like Antifa if you ask me) accelerates into the back of another car. Why? Was it someone who innocently or not was trying to get away from violent protestors beating on his car? Was it ant “Alt Right” attacking Antifa? Was it an Antifa mistake line attacking his own?
One thing for sure, the MSM will vilify white males. So, deplorable freepers, the race war is starting. Believe what you will about violence, Christianity, whatever but the fact is you are born with your uniform in a race war.

I am wondering why they would need a permit to exercise their constitutional right to assemble peacefully.

This is an all too obvious commie plan. They funded it, planned it, and picked their participants, with the goal of tying “white supremeists” to President Trump and the Patriots.
