Horror novelist Stephen King took to Twitter Friday to call for President Donald Trump to be “removed” from office.
“Donald Trump is unfit for office. Needs to be removed,” the author wrote.
The social media missive was just the latest attack King has lodged at President Trump in recent months.
Last month, the 69-year-old Dark Tower author called Trump “fake” in a Twitter post that went viral online. “The news is real. The president is fake.” he wrote.
King, however, wasn’t the only celebrity to call for Trump’s removal from office Friday.
Comedian Chelsea Handler urged the president’s generals to “remove” Trump from office, lest they be judged negatively by historians.
“To all the generals surrounding our idiot-in-chief…the longer U wait to remove him, the longer UR name will appear negatively in history,” the vocal Trump critic and Netflix talk show host wrote on Twitter.

Why are we paying ANY attention to these people? Who cares what Stephen King thinks/says/does? Tell him to go for another bike ride. And, that other one, Handler, is nothing but an attention whore. Don’t give them what they want.
Take comfort in that King hated the movie because it didn’t follow the book the way he wanted.
Stephen King, MadMax Waters, et al are themselves NOT FIT to make a determination whether Trump is ‘fit’ or not.
Trump is more fit for office thanumber King, IMO.

What is his reason for removing Trump from office? Because he doesn’t like him? Does he think we liked Obama? Why is his hated for Trump more valid than our hated for Obama? Does he think he’s special? Oh, wait... he does think he’s special.
I wonder if these swamp-loving liberals understand that if they are successful in removing Trump, that the deplorables will just raise up another Trump, and then another and another? The people are NEVER coming back to the swamp dwellers to have them rule over them. It is true, the deplorables are “haters.” They hate the swamp dwellers. The swamp creatures are darn lucky the deplorables are civilized human beings as every last one of them, starting with Mitch McConnell, are treasonous criminals!
King is saying this to get groupthink points from fellow hive members. No logic needed or wanted. It’s all part of the spirit of hate the defeated elites are spewing.Their unearned lofty positions are threatened by honest men like Trump.
The "problem" is that the military understands the Constitution and the role of the military in our Republic. We are not a Banana Republic where military coups are accepted and/or encouraged. The military works for our elected civilian leaders.
Any military officer who crosses this line should be court martialed and executed for treason.
Except for the occasional car accident (iirc, he was the injured jogging party...), and him buying radio stations to keep Limbaugh off the air in his locale, I don't pay attention to him.
King is advocating the violent overthrow of the United States Government. He should be arrested immediately.
He can write his next novel on a typewriter in prison.
Agree. King is a great writer (maybe the best), but his politics are screwy. You see that in his books too.

Can’t comment on Chelsea Handler as I’ve never seen her (not watching TV has some advantages :).
But their job skills do not give them any advantage when it comes to social or political philosophy. Just shutup and do what you do.
Clearly the left’s problem with Trump is that he isn’t the crook, liar and influence peddler that Clinton is.
He needs to misdirect some disaster relief funds, rent out the Lincoln bedroom, take campaign contributions from ChiComs and pornagraphers, and finally have a few mysterious deaths ... and THEN they’ll like him!
They deal in make believe for a living and have convinced themselves that their make believe is true, that what they make up becomes true.
They may be good within their careers but that gives them no special knowledge or special abilities to determine anything about politics or international affairs.
The only people who think they are special are those who believe in the make believe that they create.
This is nothing more than more left winger socialist zealots running their mouths and soliciting Treason.
They should be charged with conspiracy to commit treason.
I've noticed hive-thinkers will say "The" news, when in context they must mean some news sources and not others. Unlike reasonable rational people who will be more specific.
