Dozens of white nationalists marched through the University of Virginia campus on Friday night carrying torches while chanting You will not replace us.
The demonstrators, who also yelled "blood and soil", a phrase tied to Nazi ideology, made their way through the Charlottesville campus before encircling a group of counterprotesters gathered around a statue of Thomas Jefferson.
A fight broke out, and some of the white nationalists swung their tiki torches at people, according to the Daily Progress.
Protesters wielding torches march through campus chanted "You will not replace us".
Members of both sides were reportedly hit with pepper spray, and several people were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Police arrived on campus, declared it an unlawful assembly, and ordered the crowds to disperse. At least one person was arrested.

That would make a great tagline.
You seem to like to talk about Nazis. You and your friends on the left seem to fit that bill more so than the folks marching in this video.
Lots of those guys are going to lose their jobs.
I find the signs disgusting, but it is also curious that muslims, and muslicrats carrying the very same signs get no media attention, and no suggestions from some folks on FR that they should be fired from their jobs.
If this double standard (where only whites are subject to moral scrutiny and legal jeopardy) is not a prime example of the overt, racist apartheid into which our society has devolved, then I don't know what is.
Find the Republican.
You’ll have to look *really* close.
You will never hear BLM or LaRaza described as supremacist. But I rhetorically ask why not? If the shoe fits...
If so, that's certainly a sorry state of affairs, which nobody should want...
Looks like more than ‘dozens’...
Agree. Diversity, multiculturalism, and identity politics got us here. I’m not so sure the genie can be put back in the bottle.
Which makes me surprised and disappointed to see Jack Posobiec associated with this. Not a good look. Especially when he is the one organizing the protests against Google.
Looks like both sides are essentially all white men?
Worth repeating.
Worth memorizing.
“You seem to like to talk about Nazis. “
Yeah, let’s cut the attempt at trying to go on a tangent.
You know what that Spencer guy is about, so you can shove the lame attempt at playing stupid or trying to accuse me of being some sort of “friend” with the left.
Either own the crap that guy pushes, or dont show your embarrassment at being associated with it by trying to “shame” me for saying how much he sucks, because it isnt going to work.
“Jefferson didn’t write “white men are created equal”he wrote “all men are created equal””
Individualism reflects basic American thought or, at least, what it should be. In that manner, i’ll evaluate you as a person and ask that you treat me as such. These folks are really not much different than BLM.
...but when blacks, hispanics, moslems and gays rally and march; it's all good.
Enough.
I like the fact that these marchers are not cowered by SJW activists and their anti-white agenda. Spare me your moral outrage. It doesn’t work on me.
“And maybe they are they same people who have been spouting anti white BS since the election? The same people who insist the right is racist meanwhile support LaRaza & CAIR and the Black Caucus and The Hispanic Caucus and thousand of other raced based BS.”
You’ve got it. Make no mistake, these people want to replace us and we’re helping them do it by supporting them with our tax money. When we’re gone there won’t be any more gibs.
The silent majority is getting its voice.
Spencer is a regrettable but predictable result of a society that demonizes whites & engages in race hate against them.
Of course it didn't. And that's exactly what we did during the American Revolution: formed a nation among ourselves by mutual consent—employing integrated military regiments in which Blacks fought side by side with Whites—something that didn't occur again until after the WW II era.
If that was true, why was citizenship limited to white males?
Inasmuch as it was, that certainly wasn't an ideal to strive for. On the contrary, it was an overtly hypocritical policy which violated the noble principles of the Revolution itself—principles that were much bigger and more perfect than the flawed men who proclaimed them. And the right to vote was limited only to White males who owned property for quite some time.
Eventually, we fought a bloody Civil War which established the principle that separate nations were not to be carved out from the United States—at least in the case of the Confederacy. Consequently, we ratified the 14th Amendment, which definitively established the right of Blacks—and any other color of person—to birthright citizenship.
There's no going back—who would want to?
Well said, Brother...
