Sherlock Holmes music videos for the series with Jeremy Brett, Bernard Cumberbatch and the movies with Robert Downey, Jr.
I've added more in the News Playlist on hunting for weapons of mass destruction in the Iraq war (includes the files marked Rumsfeld), and finding Saddam.

Colorized Basil Rathbone & Nigel Bruce? I’ll not be a party to that!
Only in the most discrete and subtle tones, I’m sure. Actually, I really like colorized. It’s a different type of art, but something in it hits me in a good way. Simplified, like early 20th century art before it went crazy.
A wave and a thank you, mylife. Appreciate your kindness.
I just like Holmes and Watson, Moriarity and all that
Oh, I love Jeremy Brett. The night before last, I watched ‘The Blue Carbuncle’... Christmas in summer and all, I guess. I love the series. In my unacademic, but avidly read and appreciatively observed estimation, Jeremy Brett WAS Sherlock Holmes.
Another one of those episodes where Holmes WAS the arbiter. That look on Watson’s face when Holmes let him go. He made the wrongdoer talk, and then he decided what to do with them. The major sin was not to confess to him. If you could ever trust someone to dispense justice, Holmes was the one you’d trust.
Love Mycroft. He’s usually portrayed so unusually.
Also a super fan of Jeremy Brett, but I must admit a great appreciation of Jude Law as Watson in the new movies. I think he’s much closer to the Watson of the stories. Yes, he was a doctor, and a writer, but he was also really a man of action.
I never thought of that, but you’re absolutely right! The scene where he tries to bring the dead Holmes back and thinks he’s failed... I love Downey in this and Ironman, but I adore Law. Sort of the Spock of the show.
The sibling rivalry!
MI 16!
Whipping the cigarettes behind their backs when mother comes out.
I worked with
a fellow for decades that still lies to me
They’re also exceptionally controlling. NINE of my Cumberbatch music videos can’t upload on YouTube, most stopped by the BBC. All Billy Joels are blocked by the singer so I lose She’s Always a Woman for Irene Adler. Bob Dylan also blocks so I lose the Robert Downey Masters of War. They’re still available for downloading, unpacking, watching and deleting.

That’s gonna leave a mark!
You’ve described it very well. Expressive emotions on their faces, a great treat. I’m not sure I could be so merciful. Holmes was, and Watson — God bless him — convinced Holmes to delay their feast, until the innocent was freed to enjoy his. Thank you for your post. Most appreciated!
