You learn something new every day! It never occurred to me to CUT THE D@MN BRANCH OFF and stomp on them; I mean, they’ve ALREADY destroyed it!

Jalapeno Poppers are my favorite, though Beau hates ANYTHING ‘Mexican’ as far as food goes. He’s at Bear Camp right now - I’ve eaten Tex/Mex EVERY day this week. ;)

Your Green Bean Casserole reminded me to post my Zucchini Hot Dish Recipe - thanks for the reminder!

I agree on Eggplant. SO GORGEOUS - but worthless as far as nutrition and taste go. You have to smother them in something else to make them the least bit palatable. It’s like eating a slice of sponge or...Wonder Bread!

And some people feel the same way about Mushrooms - but I could LIVE on a steady diet of Mushrooms.

*SHRUG*

(Hate-Posts from the Pro-Eggplant Contingency WILL be deleted, LOL!)

I put a third of a slice of good bacon over the popper before baking. Maybe he would like them then. :)

You know, I hate them SO MUCH that a quick death just isn’t in their fate when I find them in MY garden. I. Want. Them. To. SUFFER! I want their FAMILIES to SUFFER. I want the word to go out, far and WIDE, that you do NOT mess with Ms. Diana’s Tomatoes. Period!

Yep. I’m MEAN that way, like a Junkyard Dawg! (But wearing a very pretty pink collar with all sorts of SPARKLY BLING on it, LOL!)

Using Bacon to lure in A MAN? You are EVIL...but I LIKE the way you think! ;)

(Bacon is GREAT for catching Crayfish, too; not that I’m making ANY comparisons to crayfish brains v. man brains, LOL!)

Diana’s, ‘I’ve Got Too Much @#$%^&*! Zucchini’ Bake

1 can Cream of Chicken or Cream of Celery Soup
1/2 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
Zucchini, any kind, chopped, enough to fill a 13x9 pan (Seeded, but leave skin on)
1 large sweet onion, chopped
2 Tbsp Olive Oil (or vegetable oil)
1 Box Stuffing Mix

Chop up your Zucchini until your 13x9 pan is full to the top, then fry with the chopped onion in oil until softened in a Dutch Oven or other heavy-bottomed pan. (Zucchini and onions shrink; it fits back into the pan, don’t worry!) Mix together the can of soup and the yogurt or sour cream and the herb flavoring packet form the stuffing mix. Butter (or spray) your 13x9 pan and layer the Zucchini & onions first, then the soup mixture, and then sprinkle the stuffing mix (dry) on top. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or so until bubbling and heated through.

You are going to want to eat this every day for the rest of your life, once you’ve tasted it! ;)

So beautiful! All the foods and gardens on this thread is amazing. The dirt where I live must have been cursed. Or maybe it is the gardener. I just need to find what it will grow. Anyways, thanks to everyone on here for such amazing pictures and recipes. I am already setting plans for next year.

I buy them because they are beautiful. I set them on the table surrounded by red green orange and yellow bell peppers. I never really know what to do with any of them, except admire the colors.

You got started far younger than me. I am very late to this skill. But at least there is hope for me! .

No can do sit ups yet. Abs are not strong enough and I suspect that the hip flexors are and issue too. I have gained strength in my upper body, I tried to use the pulldown bar to help me out a bit, almost did it but not quite.

Over the years, I have had various issues that I resolved by merely changing the sleeping arrangement, but so far I’ve not figured this one out, and so many different things are going on now.

Anyhow I’ve been researching a lot regarding the spine and the autonomic nervous system and how that is impacted by various spinal issues, medicines etc.

Thanks for all the tips and advice.

Steak fat with bits of steak

They did alright - they like to lay down and watch me cook.
