The liberal ethos is that in a deregulated Reagenesque limited government environment, these millenials are out of a job. Being a government bureaucrat is what they have been led to aspire to do, and have been trained to do from primary school onwards. Now without a track record of anything but bureaucracy and promoting bureaucracy, and pumped up by decades of receiving trophies for participation, they attack the ostensible reason for their failure as further self promotion for landing a cushy liberal job in a liberal non-profit or a liberal foundation.
