Get a burn permit first, HEH!
Can they charge you with Arson if you first get a burn permit?
A Craigslist scammer got the $3K. The real victim is the scammee, but she’s taking it out on the homeowner, who should turn around and sue for damages.
[ That is the scam. Someone listed the property for rent, signed a lease and has been collecting rent for property they do not own. No one seems to be going after the scammers. ]
Could very well be someone out of state doing the scamming... Making it a FEDERAL CRIME!
Think about it, all you need is a sales listing search via internet and you too can create craigslist rental ads.
Where the F###K is the FBI??? Oh they are chasing imaginary Russian rabbits...
I like the Jehovah’s Winess ploy.
Good advice.
Call 1-800-CORLEONE.
Take the doors off of the hinges and sue the utility companies for aiding and abetting a felony.
This happened to a good friend of mine.
Home was eventually repossessed.
Law Enforcement could do nothing.
By the time I found out, it was too late.
poor grammar/punctuation. Should be a comma in there or be reworded. A lot of ‘journalists’ have poor sentence structure, trying to sound smart. They read some classics but not enough. I had to read it twice.
A Cobb County woman is filled with frustration after she says strangers moved into the vacant house she was selling, without her knowledge.
They moved in without her knowledge.
Play some hells angels a 1000 bucks to go in there rough them up and throw them out.
It's actually a fairly common scam.
Always track down the owner of record to make sure it is a legitimate deal.
Those could be considered constructive eviction, and against the law.
I actually see the squatter’s side. Though they are in adversarial possession, in tenancy, possession is 9/10’s of the law. A legal eviction truly is the required action here.
Wasn’t me, I called in sick that day!
Maybe it was gremlins
Create a fake eviction, signed by a fake judge, sealed with a fake seal, and delivered by a fake constable.
Sounds fair to me.
I like the way you think!
I have heard of this happening in northern California. Sad to hear about it in GA.
They’re lying. They paid no one.
If they’re married, send a hooker.
If not send two
I just wish I were king of the world for a day.
All these kinds of scammers, in all their various flavors, would get a 100,000-volt lightening bolt up their butt.
and a skunk.
