Colon is learning that actions have consequences.
tebow
Take a bow there Colin. Err I mean a knee.
surprised he hasn’t already gone to the EEOC
For what? Being a lousy QB?
If that was the case Johnny Manziel would be a rich man....................
I would not watch a team that hired him, even as a backup. I tell you, I hated the Bears Quarterback so I stopped watching. And he was only bad, not un-American. I would have no problem avoiding any game with Kaepernick. Frankly I have been avoiding him for 2 years already. And I am sure I am not alone.
It is not the NFL or the NFL owners that is ultimately blocking Kaepernick. It is the fans...
Kaepernick is free to protest but he is having to deal with the consequences of a fan lead counter-protest. Some may pretend otherwise but the NFL and owners are fully aware that TV ratings dropped sharply because of the anger of the fans. What owner would hire Kaepernick considering that many fans would cancel their season tickets in protest?
Employment as a professional entertainer requires the whole package - including a customer service ethic. Being a Professional Angry Negro disqualifies most applicants.
Why hasn’t ESPN hired him?
In a socialist state the NFL could be forced to hire him and dole him out to a team, but fortunately we aren’t living in a socialist society. His long term employment does and should rely on the merit of his ability to win and bring people back to the stadiums to watch, i.e. his ability to bring in money and not controversy. Long live capitalism!
If he has a case, I’m calling my lawyer to initiate a similar suit. Never mind that I’m over 60, 50 pounds overweight, and couldn’t throw a football more than about 20 yards.
Sure. Get in line behind Tim Tebow and Michael Sams.
Wonder if he should expect support from the same entities that he so eagerly disrespects. Of course, he can and should but that would make him a hypocrite.
There are very few men in the world who can quarterback an NFL team. The package of skills, leadership and brains is extremely rare.
But there are just enough of those men available to render Mr Kapernick redundant.
Far less accomplished passers? Really?
If Kaepernick has legal standing, then I do too. I wanna be a quarterback! They owe me a job!
If he has a case I want to join it. Year after year the NFL continues to refuse me a contract. It’s not fair.
Only if he could prove collusion between the owners.
