The former Baywatch star, 49, renovated the now-$7 million house, which she originally bought nine years ago for $1.8 million.

Her basis in the property is closer to the price she paid for it (1.8 million) so her net profit would be much higher assuming a standard 80% mortgage.
It’s my kind of house. I really like the split living with pool in the middle. Seems like almost every area would be used. When we were planning on building on our Hawaii property I was going to utilize this type of plan. Except we have a full acre to work with.
most celebs don’t want or need to go a lot of places so im sure that’s why is popular..most use them as investment properties

In my opinion, Anderson's rental or sale of her home is an indication of actions necessitated by fact$ of life that are affecting a faded career.

You are probably right. I just guesstimated that she invested $5M in the house according to the article thus bringing the market value close to $7M. My approach sets a lower bound on her profit. Not bad even with my approach.
