Why were they detained?
Either operate with the proper license or don’t pay the fine and fight it out in court.
Handcuffed and forced to enroll in the DJT Apprentice Program.

I read a quote recently that seemed to put the current state of affairs quite nicely:
“A license is a right taken away from the government and then sold back to the citizen”
For selling water on the mall without a permit. I suppose that a fascist bureacrat could consider that to be a terrorist act.
Maybe they should have put them in stocks? Or a CMU? NDAA does permit the arrests and detention of any American for terrorism.

I would say that’s an extremely egregious betrayal.
Teen jobs are whren manners and hard work is first learned.
We hear people these days constantly complain about Millennials while robbing them of virtually all opportunities to learn the habits that older people could learn and do appreciate.

those are all jobs that have disappeared for native young people and blacks.

I sit eagerly leaning Forward in the first run of hood and rapper haters, I hate everything about those two things yet I support these young people in handcuffs.

Yes - but a very large number of those laws and regulations are enacted for the financial benefit of certain large political contributors. One of the biggest problems the Republican Party has not yet been able to sort out is the separation of "pro-business" from "pro-crony" - far too many of our representatives use the first phrase when they really mean the second.

I’m not certain as to whether this was a law or a regulation; likely it’s a Federal reg if the action was taken by the “Park Police”
What we have to realize is that we are ruled by bureaucrats that are given Carte Blanche authority by legislators to create regulations with the force of legislated law. The petty bureaucrats frequently adopt a Gestapo mentality.
I can see the mentality of an evil mastermind politician that wants to rule the world, but these petty bureacrats are little Judas’ selling out for their 30 pieces of silver.
