Si, señor, but the rules don't say that the bull has to lose. :=)

Now that’s chickenshit! If the bull wins one like that he should get to retire to the fields!

Bullfighter Ivan Fandiño was gored to death Saturday afternoon by a bull
I remember when the Wide world of Sports used to show bull slaughters from Spain.......
Back around 1984 when I spent a two week vacation in Acapulco, I had the gross displeasure of actually watching a bull fight at the Acapulco arena.........It only took 10 minutes with the first bull before I had to walk out............
It's not a sport, it's a slow, painful slaughter of an animal.

IIRC, the joke continues with the man deciding the dish looked so good he ordered it a few days later. On being served a much smaller portion, he queried the waiter and was answered:
"Ah senor, sometimes the bull wins...."

I watched one on TV with my Dad once and I just had to leave the room.
See my last post. The thing about TV is that you are detached from the actual event even tho you may react to it.
But to see it live will forever change you...........It may sound stupid but I still get tears when I think back on that event.

An American tourist went to a restaurant next to a bull ring in Mexico. He ordered the special of the house since he spoke little Espanola. Two large fried balls of meat were served with the appropriate side dishes. Since the taste was to his satisfaction he ordered the special whenever he returned to this restaurant. One day he asked the waiter exactly what the cut of the meat was that made up the fried balls. The waiter laughed and said the balls were from those that were killed in the bullfights. This did not really disturb the American since he was used to the taste and liked it. One evening he returned yet again to this restaurant and ordered the special. He was surprised at the much smaller portion he was served and called the waiter over to complain. The waiter explained, “Senor sometimes the bull he does not lose”

Stabbing animals to death for entertainment? Screw that. I hope the bulls win every time.

I won’t shed a single tear for that dandified sadist. He got what was coming to him. I only wish it had been earlier in his “career” of slowly torturing and killing animals. Bullfighting is a celebration of sadism. It’s a stacked deck against the bull, who is but a dumb animal. He didn’t ask to be pent up in an arena, where he can’t escape the screaming and cheering which must drive him crazy. He has wicked blades painfully thrust into his neck muscles so that he can’t defend himself. He is teased to exhaustion and then slyly killed. From beginning to end, it is an affront to G-d, torturing one of His creatures for SPORT. Bullfighting should be outlawed everywhere. It should cease to exist.
