Trump didn’t appoint his Sessions did. Sessions Screwed up big time by appointing this Obama Hack and then reusing himself from the Russia nonsense. He should have called for and insisted an end to the investigation within a month of taking office.

Trump MUST tell Sessions to call in Mueller and require an update on WHAT he is doing nor that the entire Russia Collusion idea is debunked and tell him to end the whole program ion a week with a complete report explaining it all as fake news.

Or outright fire him.

I understand the reactions here, but people don’t understand Sessions and Rosenstein are trying to return the DOJ to the professional tone which Comey destroyed.

Actually, it was Holder and Lynch that are the perps that turned the DOJ into the JustUs Dept.

“That’s an okay statement but it’s very weak.”

Agreed.

“...people don’t understand Sessions and Rosenstein are trying to return the DOJ to the professional tone which Comey destroyed.”

That is a scant possibly I’ll grant you for the sake of the argument. IMO it’s far more likely that renouncing fake news is a tactic to take ownership of fake news by becoming the diviner of fake news. Now, it’s not up to you to determine whether something is real or not. It’s up to him. And you, peon, better listen and clean up your attitude towards the exalted FBI.

It’s a deliberate tactic wrapped up in a “we’re looking out for you, we don;t you to be misinformed” spin.

I don’t see the statement as a negative, as you inferred, as I believe anything assaulting the media and leakers right now should be primarily seen as a positive.

However, the late night release leaves a lot to be desired. More importantly, when he said “The Department of Justice has a long-established policy to neither confirm nor deny such allegations” he should have went on to say “however, we will identify and prosecute actual leakers to the fullest extent of the law.”

Sources in the administration say this is not true and that he was wearing an explosive vest when he said it.

Unless he takes the steps recommended by Andy McCarthy to reel in Mueller’s scope, he could issue 1,000 more tepid warnings like this to zero effect.

FWIW.

The DOJ can’t bring Impeachment charges against the President.

The Special Counsel can investigate, subpoena witnesses endlessly. Their goal will be to trap people into making conflicting statements and writing a report to hand over to Congress to decide if Impeachment is in order.

RosenKrantz needs to resign for selecting the compromised Comey buttbud Mueller and not plugging the leaks at DOJ.

I think you are over analyzing. Rosenstein is saying to ignore the BS being reported by WaPo and the NY Times from ‘unknown sources’ familiar with Mueller’s thinking.

Yep!! This is like hiring the wolf to protect the sheep! Bad and sad! Trump was bamboozled into appointing... whoever convinced him to hire Rosenstein oought to be fired! They took advantage of a man that’s never had any dealings at the hill and sprung a trap on him and took him to the cleaners!

That’s right. Mueller has no intention of trying to indict Trump. Maybe Flynn but that’s probably it. He’ll send a report to congress regarding Trump.

FOX has a new article just up that adds a hypothesis as to why it was released tonight:

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/06/15/rosenstein-warns-americans-to-exercise-caution-about-anonymous-reports.html

Though Rosenstein’s statement did not reference the Russia investigation specifically, it was released hours after the Washington Post reported that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is investigating Jared Kushner — Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law — over his finances and business dealings.

Somebody needs to investigate Comey-Mueller-RosenKrantz-DeepSwamp collusion to negate the Election.
