I hate the ambulance chasers as much as the next FReeper, but would she have grounds for a medical malpractice lawsuit?

Maybe, but I’d be reluctant to convict someone for a missed diagnosis. If victim came in and said he had been bitten by a snake and they ignored it, then yes.

If they make the mistake/negligence, it is not ambulance chasing. It is an iatrogenic death.
