Unfortunately, this isn’t just a San Diego thing (it’s just that the San Diego paper reported it). The proponents want the ban to be statewide. Guess we’ll have to get a couple thousand straws from Amazon or somewhere and hoard them (hey, it worked with the ban on single-use plastic bags). ;-)
I bought 1000 bags off Amazon. If I have to I’ll buy straws there too. lol
