No. It did what it should have done. Shows the inadequacy of some theories to explain the universe. Revise the theories. You’ll need to revise them again.

So, they missed the actual physics based on a theory based on observation and made the physics fit the observation, not was really happening, unobserved?

We can’t have this.
This sets a very bad precedent.
Stars cannot be allowed to just randomly decide to do what they want.
There must be order.
We need make that star reverse course into a supernova.
