“There will be seven years of plenty, followed by seven years of famine, ...”
Leftist chicks were always easy and generally good lays.
We called them patchouli babes.
You’d think they were STD-riddled. Of course, today, the more left they are, the uglier they are, and usually hate men.
STD’s? We are talking about the relatively innocent days of the 60’s. If I were younger I wouldn’t do anything with the lefty skanks of today.
God! The sh!t I used to get away with. Letting them think they could talk me(or convince me by other means), a young Infantry officer, into deserting and coming over to the antiwar side.
But it wasn’t much of a challenge. Lefty chicks were/are invariably stupid.
Excerpt:
Broadly speaking, the Dunning-Kruger Effect is defined as a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than is accurate. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability to recognize their [own] ineptitude.
The actors James Woods and Tommy Lee Jones, and probably Clint Eastwood, are very, very intelligent, and wise enough to know they do best in their chosen field. Donal Trump is not highly intelligent, but he is a very cunning schemer, which is different. He is not the Washington or Lincoln or Eisenhower one needs as a leader of a compelling fraction of the lesser as well as more able citizens of the nation.
The "status quo"? By definition it is what it is, and given time, changes.
At the local level, Mensa is primarily a social outlet. Here in Colorado Springs we have monthly meetings, sometimes with a guest speaker, games nights (poker is a favorite), dinners together, and other activities as they occur to members. I can honestly say I haven’t met a finer group of people. At the national level, Mensa hosts colloquiums, awards scholarships, and participates in various studies of intelligence.
Only by praying.
But we’re approaching a time described as “when the transgressors are come to the full”. Never mind Jesus’ description of them being “as the days of Noah”.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Someone has me on a ping list so that’s why I’m here.
This is a good read and an important thread.
IF is the key word here. God promises but it’s conditioned on people doing that IF thing.
Prayer is always good.
I don’t know the reasons but we all know Donald Trump was an “impossibility” as POTUS; yet, here he is.
Now, yes, look at the mess.
But everything was already all messed up and it’s culture as opposed to just politics.
So there’s reason to pray as well as try to turn selves and others toward the God our Founders knew.
Most of my dreams are me wandering around old college campus buildings or buildings where I used to work, looking for the rest rooms.
Invariably the rest rooms are closed or no longer even exist any more. So I keep looking. Other floors? Other buildings? Maybe a big tree or clump of bushes to go behind? Nothing.
Eventually I wake up and realize I need to get up and relieve myself.
Probably no earth shattering revelations there...
At least you wake up first.
My sister is a teacher and my wife works at our school district. It is really amazing that many of their colleagues espouse true, solid conservative beliefs...but, year after year after year vote Dem and spout their talking points. Many people are weak minded and simply cannot see truth right in front of them.
I would sooner purge the RINOS than start a new party. But the only way to do that is a national movement of conservatives, well funded who can primary the RINOS and beat the left.
Only then can you start to change things. My first order of business would be to kill freedom of the press. The press hides behind the first amendment while supporting the destruction of it in favor of the state. If they cannot do the job of the people, they shouldn’t have the job.
Single payer with a private option is far superior to what we have now.
Single payer without private option is the Soviet system.
We will have one or the other, try to figure out which you prefer.

Exactly right.
The only correction to this is bloodshed.
“The tree of Liberty must oft times be refreshed by the blood of patriots, and tyrants.”
The anti-Nebraska party.
I'm OK with that.
There's never been a country run by ‘self appointed elites’ that didn't devolve into something horrible. The only exceptions are monarchies - which seem to work because the people running them are fulfilling a duty rather than hungering for control. And yeah, we could choose better leaders or create systems that would encourage better people to run... always room for improvement.
Would be happy to see ideas on how to make that possible.
