Indeed. Zinn's "work" has been long discredited, yet, somehow, it has become pervasive in the higher education system. That can only be on purpose.

I always bring up Zinn. Last straw from a family member that said it was the real US history. Worthless read, absolutely worthless waste of time. I’ve also been told it’s a mandatory read for some college history courses.
