First on CNN: AG Sessions did not disclose meetings with Russian officials, DOJ says

Washington (CNN)Attorney General Jeff Sessions did not disclose meetings he had last year with Russian officials when he applied for his security clearance, the Justice Department told CNN Wednesday.

Sessions, who met with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak at least two times last year, didn't note those interactions on the form, which requires him to list "any contact" he or his family had with a "foreign government" or its "representatives" over the past seven years, officials said.

Sessions initially listed a year's worth of meetings with foreign officials on the security clearance form, according to Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores. But she says he and his staff were then told by an FBI employee who assisted in filling out the form, known as the SF-86, that he didn't need to list dozens of meetings with foreign ambassadors that happened in his capacity as a senator.

The FBI declined to comment for this story.

CNN never quits. They recycle the same crap over and over. We are at war with them.

They would rather cover their Democrat inspired nonsense than real news stories as they happen. They are propagandists, liars, and partisan frauds. They should be scorned and dismissed.

They’re very ‘troubled’ with a law and order DoJ.

Besides we’ve been over this story before, it’s not new. Sessions had 2 run-ins with the Ambassador and political dignity events and were very public. ... they they were seen on the buffet line together.

Fox News figured it out after months of this BS.

“Gregg Jarrett: What is Robert Mueller investigating (since collusion is not a crime)? Fox News ^ | 05/23/2017”

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3554751/posts

LoL. And I see it was Sessions spoke to the Russians in the course of his Senate duties. CNN’s propaganda is scraping the bottom of the crap barrel.

Let’s play this game. What vile filth Democrats in our so called government had PRIVATE meetings with real enemy agents from Communist China or Cuba?

They are unfit and must resign IMMEDIATELY!

They were talking about this back in March. IIRC, the meetings with the Russian Ambassador was the reason Sessions recused himself from the investigation into Russian influence in our election. So why is this ‘news’ today?

All they got. They just recycle the same tired stuff hoping the base will be distracted from realizing they’ve been manipulated by the media/DNC/Deep State (redundant). Probably going for a twofer, hoping Trump supporters will tire of it all, throw up our hands and say *screw them all*.

The difference is he id the paperwork properly. There is no transgression.

It doesn't matter. Just like the so-called "collusion" with Russia, all the Democrats need to do to hobble Session's leadership within the Justice Dept. is to make it appear that he did something wrong.

As the Trump Administration is so far unwilling to fight back, the Democrats will win with this strategy.

If Hillary can run for president while illegally running a private email server... if Obama can be President while having ties to known domestic terrorist...

Then Jeff Sessions can lead the FBI because he didn't’t file the paperwork properly.

not to mention the attack on sheriff clark for plagiarizing on his masters thesis by NOT putting quotes (”) around cited references.

No. There were so called meetings where others were there and they were incidental

Based upon my recent TS/SBI reinvestigation, I did not have to list official travel or official meetings I had with foreign government officials, because I did it as a part of my job. Former Senator Sessions thus did not have to list when he met with Russian diplomats in his role as a US Senator. Can you say “red herring” for CNN’s report.

Exactly. CNN has again shown it’s well earned title of the Fake News Network.

Bleep CNN...

If they want to do some real gum-shoe work? I'd like to know how many discussions through back channels ( read the Swiss and other Embassy's ) did Team Obama have with Cuba, the Norks and Iran, and all the things he did in regards to these despots.

Chicken Noodle News is too good of a name for them..

This all is just crazy by CNN, NYT, USA Today, etc. This is beyond bias. They just make stuff up. Selectively report. Take things out of context. NO journalistic integrity at all.

I get CNN breaking news alerts on my phone. Yesterday, they tweeted Breenan testifed the Russians were definitely meddling in the US election. But they did not tweet the real news, that he said Trump had not pressured anyone to stop the investigation. Fox tweeted that part, but not CNN.

Just WOW.
