Probably to hide the fact that you are getting less product. They often change the bottle shape to hide that while keeping price about the same.

If a store has one row for each bottle that will cut into space for other products. If the store doesn’t carry all body shapes, they can prepare for discrimination suits.
What store is going to give them enough shelf space to display seven different bottles?

They still sell ‘normal’ head and shoulders. Blame your store for not stocking it.
In the end, Dove just ended up creating a major public-relations fiasco. You either will push off the shelves competing products just to accommodate all these different-shaped bottles or Dove might end up not selling the product because the big retailers like Walmart and Target might reject the idea.
That makes for really inefficient use of space in the shipping carton.
Stupid idea.
How about bottles with removable organs so the owner can “transition” without having to buy a new bottle?

I don’t buy Dove at all. It’s on two ban lists - LGBT supporter and #BLM supporter.
We can assume the there is less soap in the bottles but the price is higher due to special shapes causing extra packing space to transport.

They sold only the two options when I left the brand. I assume they brought back a “normal” option when they saw their sales evaporate.
