Evan Michael Minton, a former legislative aide in California, wants to change from being a woman to a man. As part of the process, Minton sought a hysterectomy at Mercy San Juan Medical Center, part of the Dignity Health Care chain.
As a Catholic institution, Mercy San Juan does not perform elective hysterectomies. A spokeswoman for the hospital explained that such procedures may only be performed to treat a serious medical problem, and when there is no alternative treatment available.
Mercy immediately referred Minton to another hospital within the Dignity chain—one that is not Catholic—and the procedure was performed within a few days.

What the hell is the basis for a lawsuit? They referred him elsewhere and he got his female innards ripped out as he wanted. Why then does he have any basis to sue the hospital which wouldn’t perform the procedure?
This reminds me of the gay wedding cake stories, in which militant gays don’t accept the idea of being referred elsewhere. They want to force you to perform for them.
What is wrong with the ACLU? For the last 20 to 30 years they have become a left wing organization. Once upon a time they fulfilled a valuable surface. No more.
I hope that Trump cuts as much money out of the federal budget as possible that ends up in public defender, ACLU, social Justice groups, and trail lawyer association hands.

Crazy people can’t bear having people around who see a different reality. You can’t live in the same house or work in the same building unless you convince them you see them and their behavior as normal and correct. Since political correctness forces large organizations to spend money on their behalf, they use it to force all of society to bend to their will. How empowering that not only a Catholic organization will be forced to, in effect, declare them “normal” but will likely pay them money for the privilege.
Obviously a strategic set-up. They just want to destroy Catholic healthcare.
I do feel sorry for this Evan person, who is being used as a political pawn as well as sexually maimed. Exploiting people in mental/emotional distress is disgusting, unethical, and should be considered criminal.
