We should adopt a standard that a woman going to a man’s room (or inviting a man into her room) shall be considered implicit consent, in the absence of clear and convincing evidence of force.
If false, she should be prosecuted and imprisoned. If true, then he belongs behind bars. Sadly, even if he is innocent, he will be harmed by the timing of this story.
