Three Islamic State jihadis have reportedly been killed by rampaging wild boars near Iraqi farmland. The three Islamic State militants were cut down by the feral boar known to inhabit Kirkuk in the the al-Rashad region, a local news site claims. They attacked the militants and left three killed, Iraqi News reports.

From an agricultural or animal breeding perspective, think about the pressure on the gene pool of the boar population.
This is most likely much more intense than recreational hunting in northern and central Europe.
Perhaps, these boars are a genetically unique sub-species that must be protected by international convention. Please inform the U.N. about this critical situation.
Save the Iraqi Boar!
