New York billionaire Michael Bloomberg urged world leaders not to follow President Donald Trumps lead on climate change and declared his intention to help save an international agreement to reduce carbon emissions.
Bloomberg, who considered a presidential bid after serving three terms as New York Citys mayor, addressed his intensifying focus on climate change in an interview with The Associated Press. He said there was no political motive tied to last weeks release of his new book, Climate of Hope: How Cities, Businesses, and Citizens Can Save the Planet, co-authored by former Sierra Club executive director Carl Pope.
Im not running for office, the 75-year-old Bloomberg said.
Instead of helping to re-ignite his political career, he said the new book offered a specific policy objective: To help save an international agreement, negotiated in Paris, to reduce global carbon emissions.

How’s that for treason?
“Hows that for treason?”
Not quite.
If you beat the Mitt out of Bloomberg, he’d be invisible...
Bloomberg would be an (awful) president.
Absolutely awful.
But he has, a good television channel. :D
How not quite? Lots of aid and comfort I see being given by Mike B.
An example of the Establishment attempting to wear down and marginalize the President of the United States.
The Establishment RINO assclowns obstructing the President should not feel welcome at home — the districts they’re betraying.
Bloomy is now and has ALWAYS been a lefty DEM!
“How not quite? Lots of aid and comfort I see being given by Mike B.”
Bloomberg is a private citizen and he has simply expressed his opposition to a policy position of President Trump and that policy position of President Trump is not currently a law enacted by Congress.
Private citizens can be traitors too. See Article 3 Section 3.
” citizens can be traitors too. See Article 3 Section 3.”
Obviously that is accurate, but Bloomberg is also protected by the First Amendment.
Not when he gets into Article 3 Section 3 territory. His words can be used against him, i.e. for those with the courage to do so.
Is it your view that it is Treason to express opposition to a policy of the President of the United States?
Doomberg,STFU and join granny KLintoon in da woods! ...
Nonsequitur. The stated position is not definable as such. It can be, however, defined as aiding and comforting the enemies of the USA.
“It can be, however, defined as aiding and comforting the enemies of the USA.”
I don’t think that argument would stand up in any court.
Lots of pro-Constitutional arguments have been shot down in our left-wing courts. That condemns the court and not the argument.

Yes, but I don’t think Bloomberg is worried about being prosecuted & convicted of Treason.
That he does not have to worry about indeed. But for the reason I stated in the previous post.
Trump to world leaders: Bloomberg is a tiny dwarf, a drooling libtard twit. Ignore him, I do!
