There are times for proportionate force, and I think the bouncer made the right call in not taking her down completely. She didn’t swing at him again.

I actually had a sweet girlfriend that came up with a right hook during an argument. I caught her fist firmly, with my right hand, and said, don’t do that, then turned and walked away. She never tried it again.

The hardest I ever got punched in my life was by a woman who sucker punched me while I was escorting her boyfriend out. I nearly went down and had no idea who hit me. I back handed her before she got me with the second one and when I looked for my partner he was down.
