The biggest news out of Star Wars Celebration may have been the release of the hotly anticipated first teaser for Episode VIII, The Last Jedi, but despite the major secrecy surrounding the upcoming film, that wasn’t the only Star Wars revelation to come out of this weekend. I’m a Star Wars fan but doesn’t this get released Dec. 15, 2017?

Seems like a little early to get too worked up about it but hey; I just watched the entire series in order a couple of weeks ago and the first two seasons of The Expanse. The Expanse is really awesome. Too bad the season finale is this week but at least we got 3 more episodes out of it this season over the first one. Very good acting with an amazing and well thought out story line but the special effects are off the hook!

I hope the next Star Wars movie is too.

It would have been odd to have her in a future movie via computer graphics, when we all know she had died in real life.

Except for Harrison Ford, the rest of the last Star War’s movie sucked.

The Expanse is A+.

Pretty true to the first few books so far.

No major differences.

I just finished Nemesis Games and Babylon’s Ashes. Gonna hate those on TV. They should really shorten them up. Cuz they ain’t that great.

Why ? Peter Cushing is dead, yet he was a CGI in the latest Star Wars movie.

Actors die from time to time. If their characters are not critical to the plot line, they get written out. If they are indispensable, the producers find a decent substitute and cross their fingers that the audience will go along.

I don't see any particular reason to keep an aging Princess Leia hobbling around. I mean, it's not like it's Jar Jar who died ....

FYI, just binge watched “Goliath” on Prime with Billy Bob Thornton. Terrific.

I thought Fargo Season 1 (the TV series) with Billy Bob was much better than Goliath, which was only OK, although I loved slinky Tania Raimonde. But, YMMV.

Carrie Fisher was slurring her lines like she had downed a box of Franzia before every take in 'Force Awakens'.

I sincerely wish I could care as much about these movies as I did when I was a kid and the first ones came out - it was a lot of fun. I hope kids today are as excited about Star Wars as we were back then.

A younger version of her from the first Star Wars movies was created by CGI in Rogue One. It wasn’t very well done though in my humble opinion and the scene was very short fortunately.

Of course she was still alive at that time and able to give her permission and get paid for it too.

They did a great job with his CGI I thought. Much better than with Princess Laia.

Which had a creepy factor on a whole different level.

Even the Princess Leia CGI looked horrible.

Fargo was good. But the cliffhanger nature of Goliath was excellent.

The entire movie was poor. All the old characters were just framing devices for the new ones, they had no reason to be there other than that.

I agree! So many people thought it was a great movie though.
