Thought it well past time to get a 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs discussion thread going, now just 2 games into the 2017 Playoffs.
It’s hard to think of an athlete in any sport quite like him (Geno). Bill Russell comes to mind, because nothing on the outside changed the way he played, and he was technically better (and probably a whole lot more strategic in his thinking) than everyone he went up against.

If only we had some commentators who were not so biased. I”m sick of them being surprised by our fanbase but disrespectful of our team. I’m sick of hearing someone knifed the puck(not the right verb) or how it squibbed in. Get a new thesaurus.

Sheary stunk on this line during the the Columbus series, hope he’s learned something.
Sooooo....thinking L2 will go Rust-Malkin-Kessel. This line worked early on because Kessel was the primary playmaker and Malkin got Kessel the puck. Hope that’s the plan today.
Hearing Hornquist may be out. I’m not a fan so no biggie there.
Preds are really good. Pens will have to be on their toes! Mistakes WILL go into the net.
