The question is did the Bundy's steal the use of our federal lands? Yes, they quit paying grazing fees, continued to graze. This prevented the government from leasing that land to other people willing to pay. All the rest is BS and complicates their theft, not excuses it. They are in jail, deserve to be convicted, and sentenced. Someone needs to have a nice steak with their cattle that apparently still graze our public lands.

Now separately, we might discuss (1) federal ownership of the lands (which I think is good), (2) use of those lands (free and paid), which is good, and if paid, should be at value market will bear. Speaking of grazing, there has never been shortage of cattle and sheep ranchers willing to pay.
