When it came to dating in New York as a 30-something executive in private equity, Dan Rochkind had no problem snagging the city’s most beautiful women.

“I could have [anyone] I wanted,” says Rochkind, now 40 and an Upper West Sider with a muscular build and a full head of hair. “I met some nice people, but realistically I went for the hottest girl you could find.”

When I was in, I knew some rednecks from Mississippi who called it “Hog Hunting” and they took great pride in it...

They would take polaroid images and compete.

One of them was a 19 year old who maintained he was a preacher, so he was appropriately called “The Preacher”. I admit, I found him so entertaining I liked him immensely, even as crazy as he seemed to be. Thin as a rail, always with a huge lump of chew, if he was a preacher, he was the most colorful and degenerate one I had ever conceived of!
