When it came to dating in New York as a 30-something executive in private equity, Dan Rochkind had no problem snagging the citys most beautiful women.
I could have [anyone] I wanted, says Rochkind, now 40 and an Upper West Sider with a muscular build and a full head of hair. I met some nice people, but realistically I went for the hottest girl you could find.
Dan Rochkind used to date swimsuit models, but hes happier now that hes engaged to a merely beautiful woman, Carly Spindel (right).Stephen Yang He spent the better part of his 30s going on up to three dates a week, courting 20-something blond models, but eventually realized that dating the prettiest young things had its drawbacks he found them flighty, selfish and vapid.

Like usually finds like. He sounds arrogant and shallow himself, so that's what he found in his dates.
Totally explained by the Hot-Crazy Matrix...
Hey, at least he grew up. I hope.
What people don’t seem to get is that if someone better looking than you is willing to date you its for a reason. There are sane hot people in this world. They are busy dating the other sane hot people.
Yeah, me too. I could have any hot chick I want, but I just don’t bother. Yeah. Sure. Right.
Gee, I bet Carly Spindel just LOVES this article and description of her.
WELL, IDENTIFIED SELF AS A GIRL.
“Shallow Hal needs a gal”.
Oh, he's really rich. Okay, she's over it.
Go for 10 or go home alone -- Many very beautiful women are often not approached, as too many men are intimidated, feeling they have no chance, they don't try.
Then there is this approach: I'm going ugly early tonight
Kissin' don't last,
Good Cookin' do!
It’s nice to know that there are other people out there dealing with the same issues I dealt with as a young Man.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA............................ #;^)
I had a smoking HOT girl once in my life, for exactly one month. It was fun while it lasted, and I even learned a thing or three, but eventually when she found out how little money I was making she dumped me.
It hurt bad at the time, but I used it as a catalyst to pursue greater success. I have no regrets. It was fun for a while, but it would have been hell in the long run.
I’ll take Mary Ann over Ginger any day of the week.
An abundance of annoying people were interviewed for that article.
I kind of wondered why the first posts here didn’t instantly alert Laz that there was this whole weird “Not Dating Hot Women” thing going on.
I learned my lesson there early. For a short time in my twenties I was going out with this super-hot girl who basically looked like a Latina version of Brooke Shields (back when Brooke Shields was the model of hotness). I never was so uncomfortable in my life. Every time we walked in a restaurant or other public venue I could feel the eyes of every man swivel in our direction and I could just hear them thinking, what’s a super hot girl doing with someone like him? It was like walking through a mass of hungry dogs holding a large juicy steak. But on top of that, she turned out to be a totally unstable flake—mainly from guys always hitting on her. Anyway, I tired of being her amateur psychologist and was much happier once that relationship ended.
