So I say, Trump and the Republicans should start stacking the SC right now (of course, the Reps are taking a vacation as Do Nothing Republicans while we scream we need the tax cuts NOW to avoid a 1,500 point drop in the DOW if we don’t get them by August - can someone put Rand Paul in his place?).
So there is word that Hillary was planning on doing this, so I say Trump and the Reps do it and who cares if the Alt-Left media screams “dictatorship” in the MSM, they will non-stop attack Trump anyway so who cares?
Just nominate and appoint 3 more and push the number up to 12 Supreme Court justices, don’t even wait for that lefty old hag to die.

Politically this could be very difficult to do. You’re right, there is no constitutional requirement that there be nine and only nine Supreme Court justices.
But politically, it would be difficult to get the Congress to pass legislation to increase the size of the Court. FDR tried to do so and failed. This is one of those touchy “3rd rail” types of issues.
