My Ipad is mostly userd for web surfing. I hate Safari so much I won’t be buying another Ipad. Why? I find it very easy to use on an iPad. If you don't like Safari, use an alternative browser. There are a lot available.

Other browsers are available for the iPad. Opera, Dolphin, Firefox, plus many more.

I”ve had a few struggles with Safari, but it seems to be back to functional for me. What makes you hate it so much (and I’m not trying to defend it - just trying to understand).
