Some of Trump’s closet advisers seem to be on the left and they may move Trump left on some key issues.

Good God, take a pill. What is this “may” crap. You have some vision into the future. I hope you don’t have a heart attack worrying about something that has not even slightly happened. You must be very miserable in life. I feel sorry for you quite frankly. I hope you get some spiritual help. It appears you need it desperately. I don’t mean to be hard on you, but your worry is so unworthy and unnecessary.

Agreed, too many times you see comments showing nothing but impatience and demands for immediate outcomes.

Life isn’t like that and people should keep in mind President Trump is the outside to BOTH parties. He has to walk a strong straight line as the backstabbers are circling constantly looking to get behind him.

Stiff upper lip folks.

I want Obamacare repealed. We see now that the RINO Congress won’t do that.

lol. Wait until it goes to the Senate. We don’t have it near as good as the Democrats who had 60 votes when they passed the stinker. We have 52 votes so until 2018 mid-terms and the hope of FINALLY getting 60+ votes, I don’t think it is a good idea to get a new health care law. It will have to be negotiated with the Democrats or it won’t pass. That is reality no matter how many unicorns you own.

Give President some time. It has taken 25 years to get into this mess and it unrealistic to expect him right the ship in a few months.

There is another option: the nuclear one. I’d like to see the Senate go there. Alternatively, I’d like to see President Trump sign so many waivers that the democrats see no point in keeping a law that has been turned into Swiss cheese. Either way, it has to die, and the sooner, the better.

I agree somewhat with what you are saying but I have two points of concern. Some of Trump's closet advisers seem to be on the left and they may move Trump left on some key issues. The Republican Congress is being lead by cowards who will fold to the left on key issues.

Good God, take a pill. What is this “may” crap. You have some vision into the future.

If I had some vision into the future, I wouldn't use the word "may". Your comment is dopey.

LOL. Look in the mirror.

My above comments now in bold, stands.

Yup exactly one caveat though, the RNC has failed us for scores of years. They have to prove themselves

Nicely written, but, we were told Ocare would be repealed and replaced as a first thing accomplished. Didn’t happen. Many advised that Trump can’t just go in and fire those who stand in his way. The response was he is a great negotiator and would get the tough things done quickly with that sill set. Bannon now appears to be losing favor, Trump is bashing conservatived, and we supposed to be enjoying so much winning.

Excellent post!

We must remember that the Democrats in elective office and the unelected, leftist media promote unrest and division in all aspects of our lives, whenever they are not in charge; so they can blame the chaos on any Republican in ‘power’.

i.e. Hillary’s deplorable list. People whose lives revolve around work, family, neighbors and other interests do not riot or spew vitriol.

The left created all the so-called crises of civility to promote an agenda of control and regulation of free speech and free association:

white vs. black - does not exist within work and school.
old vs. young - families resolve any conflict
rich vs. poor - folks work hard to become rich
gay vs. straight- no-one cares except families who make the necessary adjustments.
religious vs. agnostics & atheists- just worship or don’t.
immigrants vs. citizens - if legal, welcome. If illegal -go home.
Abortion - don’t get pregnant - use contraceptives, or get married and raise your children BUT don’t expect taxpayers to subsidize murder.

The list could be longer, so add your thoughts.

People today are like baseball fans. They think a loss or two is the end of the season, and their vision is limited to the last 24 hrs.

Remember everything stunk like a dead cow for the first 2 years of Reagan’s first term before they began to move.

Agreed. We have not fought so hard to just throw up our hands in despair just because everything is not instantly fixed.

The win of the White House was just the beginning of the fight to restore the nation, not the end of it.

Nonsense. What a crock of crap you are dishing out. I mean if I didn’t know any better, you are a Democratic spy trying to express your complete and utter lies about Trump. I am completely disgusted by you at the moment. You are probably a Ben Sasse Fan. Ugh. I hate that guy and you seem to emulate him.

I’d like them to nuke the legislation votes too. Who cares if Democrats may get back in power. We need Trump’s agenda passed with 51 votes. Enough of this 60 vote crap. Never made sense to me. Pass with majority and get on with next bill.

I've been defendingTrump here non stop and have criticized Sasse.

Sasse hates Trump.

You are an overwrought snowflake in search of a safe place.

Grow up.

Remember that progress for Trump in the area of healthcare is both doing nothing leading to its owm implosion as it currently is authorized; actually making it better via socialization-lite is a fair concern, but Trump knew early on it was going to take over a year to get anything done - now Trump can move on from Obamacare for the next year and let it bring the Dem’s screaming to make a deal.

Thanks for a great post. The 24/7 drive by media is trying to make the normal process of goverance which is very very slow, look like a saddle on Trump - but Trump is able to bid his time with History on his side - taking back the courts and putting historic thinking judges apply legal remedies without creating new law via rulings will change America for years.

Trump and SCOUTS need to render their opinions as that, opinions that will require a written requirement that no law is assumed but if Congress will entertain this lone standing judgement for new legistation or law, it would restore the court to its historic role. The SCOUTS judges; the Congress are the lawmakers.
