A naked man's bizarre fight with police ended in the fiery destruction of a luxury home Thursday night in Edmonds, police said.
Officers said they eventually had to subdue the man with a Taser when they spotted him rampaging and setting fires inside the home.
The strange drama unfolded at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday as police responded to the home in the 19100 block of Olympic View Drive in Edmonds after receiving reports about a disturbance there.
The first officers on scene heard a lot of commotion inside the house, including furniture being thrown and items breaking. They finally were able to get the man inside to come out of the home. He was naked and refused to respond to officers' orders. Police say the man then ran back inside the house, and then they noticed flames billowing up inside. That's when police went inside and spotted the man with a gas can lighting fires and running away from officers.
The man was eventually subdued with a Taser in the garage and taken out of the house, according to police.
Firefighters were called to the scene and extinguished the fire, but not before it gutted the inside of the home.
The 30-year-old suspect was taken to Harborview and is expected to be OK. Police say no one else was home at the time, and that the suspect is the son of the homeowner.
But it could have turned out a lot worse - with police pulling that man out of the home while the fires were burning.

Naked people on a rampage are often demon possessed. Oh and by the way, many examples of people being supposedly on “bath salts” have proven to be false. The most famous case of that Florida man eating another man’s face is one. The man was not even on “bath salts”. He was demon possessed.
Demon possession seems to be on a very significant increase.
No specific address. No home owner’s name. No name on the suspect. Sounds like daddy has some political pull.
Daddy should be on the phone with his attorney leaving sonny boy with $1 in the Will and no access to the family assets.

Edmonds is one of the prettiest little towns I’ve ever seen. Haven’t been there in a few years, though.
